Family
About my sweet family: Mikki and I have been married since 1991. We have five kids, currently 16, 14, 11, 9 and 7. We (really Mikki), home school our children. Our two oldest have attended third and second grade public school, respectively. Our three youngest have never attended traditional school.
I believe this was an excellent decision as it has strengthened our family in ways I had not thought it would. We live, study, sleep, work and play in the same environment, yet our harmony is amazing. We are blessed to live in a very comfortable home with lots of space and a great neighborhood.
Our family enjoys many very pleasant amenities most don’t have. The kids have a fairly busy schedule, though we do try to keep a simple lifestyle.
We moved to San Diego County in February of 2002, after a Christmas vacation here from Salt Lake City, Utah.
We enjoy cooking, singing, gardening, basketball, and family board games. The kids have all ready started swimming in our pool, which is not heated. The kids either love the pool or cold water, either way, they have started hooking their friend to “cold water swimming”. I am sure it will never make it to a national past time.
We have a dog, Kaiser, and a kitten, Talula.
We are members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day-Saints. Mikki is seminary teacher and a teacher in the Relief Society and I am as the mission leader for the Spanish branch Dos Picos.
